#1 Cloud-based Ambulatory EHR in the Country | Practice Fusion

For the second year in a row, SK&A has listed Practice Fusion as the most widely used cloud-based EHR among physician offices in its Physician Office Usage of EHR Software annual report. The research firm also notes in the report that Practice Fusion is the fourth largest ambulatory EHR vendor in the country, with 6.34% share of the U.S. ambulatory healthcare market.

According to SK&A, the annual report “is based on telephone interviews with 296,834 medical offices between September 2016 and February 2017. The sites represent about 600,000 physicians from 58 practice specialties. Office staff and business managers respond to up to 20 questions related to EHR purchase, usage, brand and intent. SK&A has been measuring the adoption of electronic health records since 2010 and provides historical data, trending and mapping.”
